Yanfei Architects is an interdisciplinary research-oriented studio established in 2012. Engaging with the existing realities in China, Yanfei Architects explores forms that provide new possibilities for contemporary life. Their work has garnered widespread attention within the academic of architecture. In 2018, they were honored with the AIA (American Institute of Architects) Design Excellence Award and were invited to participate in the Venice Architecture Biennale. They also participated in the 2019 Aedes Touring Exhibition in Berlin, Germany, as part of the National Arts Fund project “Our Countryside.” In 2023, they received the “Architecture China a” Young Exploration Award.
